Food(ography) with Mo Rocca

I’ve been a judge for a few of the Takedowns that Matt Timms runs in Brooklyn, but when he asked me if I wanted to participate in his Trash Can Smoker Takedown on the new Cooking Channel show Food(ography) with Mo Rocca, I knew I wanted to compete. And I knew I wanted to win; I’ve made smokers out of all kind of Ikea and Home Depot items. I’ve even tried the Alton Brown cardboard box smoker. The shoot time was only a few hours long and the protein options were pretty limited, so out of a whopping three contestants, two of us did salmon. Awesome. If you catch the Outdoor Cooking episode (Season 1 Episode 2), I’m at the end smoking Teriyaki Salmon with homemade Crème Fraiche and a Savory Blueberry Sauce!
